Why Hello Again!
My poor blog over here is gathering dust! I’m so sorry, blog.
Truthfully I’m not quite sure what to write about, but I did just want to write something. My last entry was from all the way in January! I won’t read it, because I tend to cringe at my old reflections, but life is so different now.
I wrote about it a little bit in my IT learning log, but in January, I started studying IT, and in June of this year I got my first IT job! I work at a company that runs playtests for video games, which is just as cool as it sounds. I get to see a lot of interesting stuff and interact with people who are just as much- often even more- passionate about the art of the video game as me. Truthfully, I wish it was a little more of actual tech (we do a lot of general office management as well), but I love when I do get to work with computers and troubleshoot. And a big chunk of learning that about myself happened in learning how to code this website!
Like I’ve said on the homepage, this website has changed my life in so many ways and I look forward to making it the best I can. I am starting to feel like the whole thing could use a step up, and I’m tempted to do a whole redesign… but I should probably fill everything out and add some more content first. Too many empty spaces right now!
