Two days into my October update challenge and I'm very pleased with what I've done so far! I've given some tlc to my coding journey page, including updating my inspirations, adding resources, and making a super cute neighborhood inspired by children's play carpets! Iykyk! Neocities followers, please go give it a look, all of your buttons should be up there!
With that addition, my "neighborhood" mini section on my homepage is now for featured buttons! I'll switch it out every month or so (I hope), right now I got a fun blue and pink button color scheme going. Truly, it is based more on button design than site design, because all of my followers have such cool sites... the neocities community is really inspiring! If you follow me, I am truly very grateful. 42 doesn't seem like a lot, especially compared to others, but when I was hunting for everyone's buttons, I was like "wow is this a lot of pages to look through"! So thank you :-)
Finally a new blog post! Been making some small updates to my homepage as well, including a clock in my time and a new challenge calendar for October! My goal is to write some more content for the site every day- we'll see how many days out of the month I can do. :-)
Many things going on in the background too, including working on some more shrines that will hopefully get uploaded sooner rather than later. Stay tuned!
Like the introvert I am, I've spent the whole weekend finally making my Dance Dance Revolution shrine. Go look here! Apologies if not everything is squeaky clean yet, it's late on a Sunday night and I have work tomorrow...
I waffle between thinking I'm too nerdy and not nerdy enough. Jury's out still but this shrine may tilt the scales.

My art studio is live as of a day or two ago! I just added a second entry to my art blog so go take a look if that's your thing. Been working hard on it!
Also been busy adding some fanlistings on the home page. Now just to officially apply to them.
I've been doing a complete overhaul of the blog system to use Zonelets! The end goal is to be able to have tags integrated. Now that I spent days doing it I'm realizing it might be overkill. I think I get too excited to see if I *can* do these things and don't stop to think if I actually *should*. Oh well... new blog system!
Two days of updating in a row?! I've been hard at work on my day off. Dare I say, and I don't want to jinx it, but all my pages are currently workable on mobile. Amazing, no, but functional. Perfect is the enemy of good, as they say.
Next I'd like to actually fill those pages out!! I sometimes find writing cumbersome so I've been putting it off. But I need to lock in on that.
I'd love to just sit in my room working on this and being a hermit for the rest of the night, but I got some social obligations to attend to. Cya soon!
She lives! Dear website, I'm sorry I neglected you for so long. But I am happy to say I'm back.
I've been working on mobile optomization- sigh, I know. Originally I wasn't going to optomize for mobile, so I didn't build my website with that in mind. I feel like a website is a work of art, and this work of art was built to be viewed with a bigger window size. But I've caved to the realization that no one is going to want to keep up with looking at this thing if it can only be on the computer. Maybe no one will look anyways, but it'd be easier if it could be on the phone too. Most of the time I'm on the internet it's on my phone, so I get it.
So home page should be optomized, blog page should be, and everything else is in the works. We'll see how much of the other stuff I do or don't adapt- some things like the about page might just stay as is. If the home page is looking wonky for you on mobile, please let me know! Speaking of letting me know things, I have a guestbook now- drop by and say a hello for me, if anyone's reading this!
I hope to update again sooner rather than later. Trying to incorporate more of the color yellow into the site as well...

I haven't updated in a while, so you may think I'm not working on the site as much- but you're wrong! I'm actually just coding until I get really tired and then can't be bothered to make an update post.
I've been adding pages at lightning speed, and I'm so excited to debut some new ones- namely the cd collection and the manga library! Both of which can be found along with a media log on the media homepage.
The CD Collection has gotta be the most advanced thing I've coded yet. But I'm thrilled with it and so excited to share it with the world! The media log was also very hard to code, and was my first time learning how to integrate google sheets into an html page. Tricky stuff. I almost gave up!
Go see these pages for yourself and show them some love!
I've added a lot to the homescreen in the last two days- nav links, a little about section, some decoration.
I think I'm getting too hung up on trying to acomplish really big steps right off the bat.
I'm going to start moving onto other pages instead of obsessing over everything being perfect before I take another step. I set up the blog page today, go give it a looksies!
Today is day 6 and I have 43 visitors?! Did I read that right?? Must be me refreshing so much. Thank you! ☺
I spent all day trying to fix that chatbox on mobile. I think I got it okay (not perfect) for now.
